If you are in London, Paris, or Frankfurt airports and have a chance to stop into the Cathay Pacific Lounges for a tea or glass of champagne, see my work there.

My goal has always been to enhance environments in a positive way. My abstract artwork is about playing with pattern and negative space to create balance, peace and calm. There is a lot of movement, rhythm and dynamism in the imagery, but I know when a piece is completed when I have achieved a sense of peaceful balance.

Cathay Pacific Airways wanted to incorporate their traditional use of the bamboo motif and their corporate colors of burgundy/dark red, green and champagne/ochre. I created an abstract bamboo motif in two paintings. Also, a more organic, softer Bamboo-East-West-themed, collage artwork, which balances out the harder, rectilinear shapes and surfaces in the very modern space.
